Everyone knows after Sammy Hagar and Van Halen separated that Gary Cherone joined the band for one album. Seems there is more to the story.  Mitch Malloy has taken to social media to fill-in some missing pieces.   The Band was in search of their new front man when Mitch Malloy’s name came up. Eddie and mitch met to see if they had any chemistry and there was they, according to Mallory, had great chemistry and wrote and recorded a Demo called “It’s the Right Time”.

In the end Mallory passed on the job and with all the recent interest in Van Halen wanted to get his due for being the next choice to sing after Sammy, so he cleaned up and released the demo on socials. Check it out.
