A new study at CNN.com shows that San Antonio is the second hottest city in the US. Literally. So far in 2024, San Antonio has had 54 days where the temperature as reached or exceeded 95 degrees. That’s second only to Las Vegas which has seen a whopping 83 days of 95+ heat. And that’s the good news.
In 1976....San Antonio averaged only 7 days per year where the temperature hit 95 degrees. Compare that with our current average of 89.3 days per year. So if you think it just seems like it’s getting hotter....think again. And it’s only August 13th. Ugh.
