While Def Leppard has been preparing to hit the road with Journey and The Steve Miller Band, they have found time to record new music. They just released “Just Like 73″, a song about what it was like to discover the revolution of 70′s rock firsthand.  Guitarist Phil Collen said when he first saw David Bowie it was like music went from black and white to technicolor, “this song represents that awakening”.

Tom Morello says he’s a long time Def Leppard fan and even played their songs in his college cover band. You can hear his whammy bar during the lead break for sure.
