Monday Night Marked the U.S. debut of the new Motley Crue line up.

Motley Crue performs a “secret” show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom Monday night May 6th. Here is the story, with video.

Motley Crue have been busy getting ready for the Dogs of War tour, dealing with rumors and breaking in a new guitar player, and we finally get to see what that is all about.

The band booked a secret show at the Bowery Ballroom In New York City Monday night the sixth. The show was billed as featuring the band “1981″, but that didn’t fool fans, it sold out in minutes. Granted the venue only seats around 600 people, so there weren’t many seats to sell. Hard core fans stood outside the ballroom for hours waiting to get a look at the new Motley Crue. John 5 seemed to have no problem grooving in with the rest of the band and had some smoking guitar parts. I felt like Vince was struggling but, I have felt that way for a while.

The Crue, started with “Primal Scream”, and never looked back. The set list covered all the fan favorites with some deeper cuts and of course the, new song, “Dogs of War”.

Here is the set list from setlist.fm

01. Primal Scream

02. Too Fast For Love

03. Looks That Kill

04. Wild Side

05. Shout At The Devil

06. Live Wire

Here is some video from the show, it appears to be fan filmed, so it might be a skewed representation of the band sound.
