There is nothing quite like playoff football. You win...you keep playing. You lose...you’re out. One and done. Period. Full stop. No best-of-five or best-of-seven. There’s an urgency to a one-game-do-or-die scenario. It’s like every game is a game is a game seven. With that said...strap in and get ready for one of the best football weekends of the year....starting with the two NCAA games.

I’ve got Penn State over Notre Dame and Texas besting Ohio State. Is there any logic to these picks at all? Not really. I’m a Michigan fan...so I tend to support the Big Ten...hence the Penn State pick. The exception to that rule...as a Michigan fan...is that I can never choose Ohio State. Couple that with the fact that they’re playing our boys from just up the road...and I say Hook ‘Em Horns!

As for the NFL Wildcard Weekend...there actually is a method to my madness. I’ve watched all of these teams play multiple times throughout the year...and with zero bias whatsoever...here is my list of winners....straight up with no spread. If you’re looking to bet the points...you’re gonna have to figure that out for yourself.

L.A. Chargers over the Houston Texans (sorry) in a close one

Baltimore Ravens over the Pittsburgh Steelers...and it shouldn’t be that close

Buffalo Bills over the Denver Broncos in what could be a death match into overtime

Green Bay Packers with the upset over the Philadelphia Eagles. I just have a gut feeling about this one.

Washington Commanders over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...but Tampa keeps it within a touchdown

Minnesota Vikings (who might just be the sleeper team of the playoffs this year) over the L.A. Rams
