After the last hot dog was consumed and the final firework had faded into the night sky, our family enjoyed some much-needed r&r by watching a few Marvel Movie Marathons. All five of us are huge fans of the MCU...and that age-old argument of which movie is the best of all once again reared its ugly head. So though my thoughts and opinions get shouted down by my wife and three sons on a daily basis...at least I have this forum at my disposal to have that rare last word. And while this list can change at any given moment based on absolutely nothing at all...here are my current five favorites from the MCU.

1. Iron Man - I mean...how can you argue with the OG?

2. Captain America: The First Avenger - To me...the entire Captain America storyline is some of the most interesting and compelling content in the MCU.

3. The Avengers - Seeing the core group all together on the big screen for the first time was a childhood dream come true.

4. Spiderman: Homecoming - The first movie studio to FINALLY get the portrayal of Peter Parker / Spiderman right!

5. Avengers: Endgame - SO difficult to wrap up such an extensive and complex storyline in one movie. Marvel pulled it off beautifully!
