Eric Clapton went out for a mini tour of sorts he is played three dates on the west coast kicking off October 8th in San Diego. The other dates were Oct. 10 at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert and Oct. 12 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Jimmy Vahn opened and Clapton is backed by a killer band, bassist Nathan East, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, drummer Sonny Emory, keyboardists Chris Stainton and Tim Carmon, and backing singers Sharon White and Katie Kissoon.
These are the only public dates so far, but why go to all the trouble of putting together a great band if not to tour? Here’s hoping.
