To so many of us, it just isn’t Christmas without seeing TSO live. They’ll be here in town Friday December 27, 2024, at Frost Bank Center. They’ll br playing two shows, 3PM and 7:30PM. I was happy to catch up with my old friend, musical director and guitarist for Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Al Pitrelli.
Of course we discussed the show. Plus we spoke about guitars. Including a guitar that Al has had for decades. We covered the band’s history with charity that has seen them donate upwards of $20,000,000. Our conversation also included what it was like to record the very first TSO song and how Al remembers it in visual terms, like a film.
